Hi Y'all,
I am Christine, RV Mama of 4.
Eight years ago, my sister called and said she was buying an RV for only $180 a month. I had always tent-camped growing up and after sleeping on the hard ground for way too long, I convinced my hubby we too needed an RV so we could make memories with the kids. The next day, I dropped the kids off at school and drove a few hours away where I negotiated and purchased my 1st RV, “Breakdown Betsy,” all by myself, with my 2-year-old son in tow.
The 1st year, my husband drove my RV all over the state, unhooking it from the truck and setting up the water and sewer for us before he turned around and drove home (he’s a lawyer y'all, always working so that we don’t have to). The guilt set in that my hubby spent 2+ hours several times a month setting up my RV so the kids and I could make memories sitting around the campfire while he returned home to work to pay for our trips.
Since summer was just around the corner, I decided it was time to hit the road in the RV with the kids ON MY OWN. I quickly learned through trial and error that life as an RV Mama of 4 takes drive and determination, but every moment (good or bad) is a memory created. We were stranded at a camel safari in my brand-new truck that said “Power Failure” while towing the RV up the mountains of UT in 103 degrees. I drove up single lane mountain roads in CA that my truck could barely fit on. I had to negotiate and purchase, by myself, an even bigger truck in Las Vegas to tow my RV. What a relief I could now more easily navigate the mountainous terrain of the West! After learning from all my mistakes, I decided it was time to buy my second RV ("Smores"), on my own, with all 4 kids in tow.
I have continued to RV every summer with the kids and took more weekend and impromptu RV trips than I can even count exploring so many different states. We spent the last 2 winters at a stay-n-play campsite RVing near Breckenridge, CO where the kids and I skied, snowshoed, and hiked taking in all the snowy wonders around us.
Now, through the RV Mama of 4 Adventure and Community, I teach women that want to learn how to RV to gain the confidence, skills, and knowledge they need to venture out into this big, beautiful country on their own or with their kids to make memories that last a lifetime.

We have learned so many historical and scientific facts from the places we have been blessed to visit. Creating the time to learn, explore, and relax by traveling in our RV all over the country has been priceless. You not only get to experience new places, but RVing on the open road is beneficial for your mind, body, and soul. You have total freedom where you want to travel and what type of campground to stay at.
Surrounding yourself with nature improves your mood, health, and mind! RVing is magical, especially when you can fall asleep to the quiet sounds of nature, sitting around a cozy campfire and gazing at the magnificent stars dotted across the sky. You too can learn to RV on your own and experience all this beautiful country has to offer, while making memories that last a lifetime.
I started making “how-to” videos so that other women could be empowered and gain the confidence to learn how to RV on their own. We traveled in the RV from July-October, and the kids videoed me discussing tips and tricks, campground reviews, and telling stories of memories we had created.
As I started posting these on Facebook, friends I hadn’t talked to in years began reaching out asking questions about how they too could RV alone, and how they were worried about having the confidence and skills to do so. I created RV Mama of 4 to help women gain the support and knowledge needed so YOU TOO can RV with confidence.
So much of RVing on your own comes down to mindset. Many women hesitate to go after what they want because it leaves them vulnerable to failure or risk. But in fact, by taking risks, you will learn to overcome your fears. Adventure is getting out of your comfort zone!
After discovering that so many of my own friends wanted to learn to RV alone but lacked the confidence or “how-to” involved in all the details, I became passionate about sharing my love for RVing to help other women so they too, could create life-long memories exploring the country in an RV.
That’s why I created the RV Mama of 4 Adventure & Community to teach and serve other women who want to forge a path of adventure and exploration by learning how to RV. Life is short, yet many of us only dream about things we want to accomplish, rather than actually going out there and trying. I’m here to help you not only dream of making memories RVing but to take the first step, to take a risk and try something outside your comfort zone. Don’t be afraid to create the path you desire.
Within the RV Mama of 4 membership community, you will find videos, detailed checklists, and instructions which I have organized into a step-by-step path you can follow to begin RVing on your own or with kids! I address numerous RV topics including the “how to’s” of RVing, boondocking, winterizing, planning your trips, campground reviews, RV tours, and more.
I will be hosting weekly live Q&A’s where you can get your questions answered and be involved in a community with others who have the same desire to make memories RVing one mile at a time. I will be hosting camping trips throughout the country where you can gather round the campfire with fellow RV women that have similar interests. Within the membership, you can also receive 1:1 coaching on everything from how to hook up your RV to your vehicle, how to set up the water, sewer, and electric at the campground, and how to drive your RV and back it up. I can provide towing services to your campsite (within a certain mileage and weight range for an additional fee). I am also able to assist in shopping for the RV perfect for you (at an additional cost).

When I joined Christine’s “RV Mama of 4” community, I did so because of Christine’s passion, experience, knowledge and sense of adventure! I loved learning and hearing about what her family and others were doing and how they were navigating their trips.

Christine gave me the encouragement I needed -- from me saying we’d like to RV “one day” to hitting the highway in an RV -- because we knew we had the friendly safety net of her knowledgeable presence and expertise.
